What it is
A four-amino-acid peptide studied for telomerase activity and circadian regulation. Almost always given as a short course, once or twice a year.
How it works
Appears to upregulate telomerase, the enzyme that maintains the protective caps on chromosomes, and to help normalise melatonin rhythm.
How it is taken
Short course of daily subcutaneous injections, typically ten to twenty days, repeated once or twice yearly rather than run continuously.
