ARA-290
Nerve pain and inflammation, without the blood effects.
- Small fibre neuropathy
- Innate repair receptor
- No effect on red blood cells
- Neuropathic pain research
What it is
An eleven-amino-acid peptide studied for neuropathic pain and inflammatory conditions, notably small fibre neuropathy.
How it works
Derived from erythropoietin but non-erythropoietic: it binds the innate repair receptor without touching red blood cell production, so it carries none of EPO's hematologic activity.
How it is taken
Subcutaneous injection on a physician-set course.
